Hello CAT South families.

 

As I’m sure you are aware, our school sustained damage from the tornado that touched down in Edgewater this past Wednesday. Thanks to the hard work of our Maintenance, Facilities, and Operations crews, repairs are well underway. As a result of their efforts, I can let you know that the following is in place for the opening days at CAT South:

 

Wednesday, September 8th:     CAT South staff will return to the building.

                                                          Students will remain at home high schools for 9th grade day – no instruction for CAT classes.

Thursday, September 9th:         1A/2A CAT classes will not meet (previously scheduled). Students will remain at their home high schools.

                                                          Students will attend 3A/4A CAT classes remotely from home high schools.

                                                          PM Career Explorations will not be held (class will begin Tuesday, September 14th).

Friday, September 10th:            Students will attend 1B & 3B/4B CAT classes remotely from home high schools.

​

Monday, September 13th:         Students will begin attending all CAT classes in person at CAT South.

 

For remote classes, students will access Google Meets through Brightspace. Staff at the home high schools are aware of the adjustment and are prepared to support your students.
