Network System Administration |

This two-year program focuses on the computer
networking skills required to install and use computer applications
and operating systems and to manage a network. Instruction includes
how to set up and configure network hardware and software, install
and configure the TCP/IP protocol on workstations and servers,
troubleshoot and maintain a network station server, work in a team
setting, and use HTML.
Program Outcomes
Gain experience in many aspects of the computer
networking field:

Demonstrate knowledge of basic computer hardware

Apply knowledge of networking protocols, media,
hardware, and architecture

Install and configure the TCP/IP protocol

Apply networking troubleshooting knowledge

systems

Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining and
upgrading a network

Demonstrate knowledge of network security

Demonstrate customer service skills
Program Requirements

Students in 10th grade or higher
