This is a two
to three year program that provides high school students witht he
opportunity to learn about the technology of automobiles. It
includes inspection, repair, and adjustment of the engine, power train,
brakes, front end, suspension, chassis, electrical system, and computer
control systems.
This program
is a certified National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation
(NATEF) School. Students will be SP2 certified in mechanical
safety and pollution prevention. 7 credits are required for a
program completer. Students may receive articulation credits from
CCBC, depending on NATEF test scores.
